This half-day excursion offers you an introduction to parts of the Musandam Peninsula and its capital of Khasab. Drive in air-conditioned coaches or microbuses to Khasab and its surrounding areas.

Khasab Fort:

You will be picked up from Khasab Port. Visit this picturesque fort built in the 17th century by the Portuguese. The fort contains a large central tower within its low walls, which is thought to pre-date the fort itself. The fort’s location has an excellent views and provides photo opportunities.

19 steep steps to climb to go the first floor (both khasab & Bukha).

Bukha Fort and Al Haref:

Leaving the fort, proceed along the coastal road to Bukha, sharing borders with the Emirate of Ras al Khaimah. The approximately one-hour drive offers spectacular scenery. Various stops along the road gives a great chance of photographing. The fort has situated in an attractive setting, overlooking the sea and mountains. Rising above Bukha, there is one of the areas that contain numerous watchtowers. Following your visit, begin the drive back to Khasab Port.

Note: Tour involves moderate walking with some steps at the forts.
