Tour Itinerary

1. The tour starts with the visiting of Gangaramaya Temple, which is a prominent Buddhist temple situated on the banks of Beire Lake, which is built by adopting Indian, Chinese and Thai architecture.
2. Next, you will be taken to Seema Malakaya National Museum. Established in the year 1986 as the one and only natural history and natural heritage museum in Sri Lanka, Seema Malakaya National Museum has a rare collection of plant and animal species.
3. The travel groups will get later directed to the Old Parliament building, Independence memorial arcade, and Independence square by the authorities to learn more about the colonial and modern era of Sri Lanka.
4. After completing the above visit, the group will be taken to visit Beire Lake and Cinnamon Garden. Beire Lake now covers around 160 acres compared to the 410 acres in the past. Cinnamon Garden was once a land full of cinnamon plantation and now it occupies Prime Minister’s Office, Colombo Town Hall, Independence Hall, and National Museum.
5. The group will then travel to Light House, Clock Tower, BMICH, and Kalaniya Temple.
6. The authorities will wait to pick you up and the group will be taken to the selected location for making arrangements for departure.
