Tour Itinerary
We will welcome you at the famous Colombo Port Passenger Terminal. At 7.30 A.M., we will leave for Negambo beach, one of the most popular attractions in Sri Lanka. At the sandy brown beaches and dazzling blue waters, tourists can indulge in many fun-filled activities like surfing, sailing, windsurfing, etc.
You can spend some time at the Jetwing Beach or Jetwing Blue, On your request, we can arrange a lunch of your choice.
On the way to Negambo beach, guests will be taken for an enchanting boat ride through the renowned Dutch Canal. Throughout the journey, you can enjoy the flock of exquisite birds chirping and flying around the wetlands.
Next, our team will take you to visit Negambo Fishing Harbor and the associated fishing area. Before leaving to Colombo port passenger terminal, passengers can explore the wonders of Colombo such as the Old Parliament building, Beire Lake, Light House, Clock Tower, Galle face green, etc. and then step out for a great shopping.

Day excursion – Tea Factory & Plantation Visit & Elephant Walk Experience at Millenium Elephant Foundation

Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory. Where the best tea in the world is produced. Watch the tea pluckers pick two leaves and a bud with deft hands. Then to the factory where the all-important conversion to “made” black tea happens. The machinery used is of very traditional British design, some as old as 100 years. The process is a very artisanal one, unchanged for a century. Observe the process of manufacturing tea, tea grading and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea.

MUZIRIS TOUR WITH BACK WATER CRUISE
You will be picked from the Cochin Port and after a scenic drive you will visit the old synagogues of the Malabar Jews. Paravur Synagogue and Chennamangalam Synagogue were built according to Kerala traditions but they were adapted to meet the liturgical requirements of the Jews. Earlier the Synagogue functioned as a house to pray but now it has been turned to a museum as part of the Muziris Heritage project operated by the State Kerala government. You can also find the first Christian seminary and the first printing press of India near the Chennamangalam Synagogue. Later, we will visit Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple, a Hindu temple venerating Goddess Bhadrakali since ancient times. The temple is known for its powerful myths and legends and hence it has attracted many pilgrims for daily worship and festivals. Next we will visit the Kottakavu church, one of the seven original church of the Syrian Christian community of Kerala established by the apostle St.Thomas. The other attractions of the tour include a visit to Paliam Palace and Cheraman Juma Masjid. Paliam Palace was a traditional home of Paliath Achans who were the Prime Ministers to the kings of Kochi. Cheraman Juma Masjid is the first mosque in India which was built after the Chera King met the prophet Muhammad and embraced Islam. The grandeur of the Masjid is still kept intact even after undergoing many renovations. Next we will visit a small archeological site, Pattanam, which contain many artifacts that were traded between Muziris and the rest of the world.

Next we head to the Handloom Weaving Factory. It is a traditional cotton weaving village where six hundred Brahmin families strive hard to produce some of the most exotic sarees, famous for its ‘Kasavu.’ This is truly a unique sight where an entire community puts away their differences and come together for a specific purpose working with sheer hard work and passion. Kuthampully Handloom Industrial Cooperative Society was established in 1972 with 102 enthusiastic supporters who aim to preserve their traditional culture in their weavings. However, modern weaving techniques have seeped into the arena to meet the current trends and hence helped in producing designer clothes. Afterwards, you will be taken back to the port.

TUK TUK ride and walking tour to Kuthiyathode Village
Go on an exciting Tuk-Tuk Ride Travelling in Tuk-Tuk is very exciting as it gives you an opportunity to experience the pace of locals. Also, it would be fun to observe natural scenery from a different perception, from inside of a Tuk-Tuk. Get aboard a Tuk-Tuk & travel to Kuthiyathode village, 40 minutes drive from Cochin Port. Enter the village and travel via the scenic village roads, in Kuthiyathode, en route to Chellanam & Changaram Wetlands.

Let’s watch birds It would be amazing to feel one with nature, as you can go for bird watching at Changaram wetlands, and Pallithode. This place is a haven & heaven for migratory birds with around 294 of them coming here during the season. Itinerary -Our responsible staff will report at the time of ship arrival to board and precede you to tour by chartered car/coach. Gateway of IndiaThe first spot we will cover is the Gateway of India, which is an arch-monument, built in the twentieth-century at Indo-Saracenic style.
Chathrapathi Shivaji Terminus-Then we will head to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus or Victoria Terminus, an ancient train station in Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture, built-in 1978. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai.
Dhobi Ghat-On the way, we can stopover at Dhobi Ghat, which was an open-air laundromat built-in 1890. The view here is colorful and amazing. Mani Bhavan-Mani Bhavan is a must-visit museum while exploring Mumbai. This is a historic building dedicated to Gandhi. Here you can have a glance over the memories of Gandhi’s political activities in Mumbai.
Haji Ali Dargha-Located near to the heart of the city, the Haji Ali Dargah mosque with Indo-Islamic Architecture will offer you an amazing experience, exploring more about with legends about doomed lovers. The dargah includes the tomb of Haji Ali Shah Bukhari.

SPLENDORS OF DHOFAR TOURThe excursion begins with a visit to the ancient tomb of ‘Prophet Job’ situated in the scenic green mountains of the Salalah Plains. Experience the legendary story of Prophet Job and his devoutness. Proceed to the beach of Mughsail where the white sand touches the deep blue of the ocean & at high tide, where waves burst through the natural titanic ‘Blow Holes’, at the far end of the ‘Rocky beach’ with a cave-like entrance. Continue along the ‘Hair-pin-bend’ road with its breath taking cliffs on either side, to see the historical ‘Frankincense trees’ growing in their natural habitat, deep down in the valleys, dotting the dry & craggy countryside. Visit old Haffah souk, famous for the sale of high quality Frankincense & numerous other Dhofari traditional souvenirs. The smell of frankincense fills the souk. Haffah souk is very attractive with its small shops lined up with straight piles of incense boxes, clay incense burners colorfully decorated with traditional patterns and bags of incense crystals. This gives us an ample opportunity for shopping.

JEBEL SAFARI TOUR (FULL DAY)
Start the tour in the morning by 4X4 vehicles, on a full day safari into the Dhofar Mountains. Drive through the scenic village of Taqa making a photo stop at Taqah Beach.

Then drive into the ‘ever green Wadi Darbat’ for a relaxing stroll along the Wadi bed, surrounded by herds of Camels, Goats & Cattle. In the Khareef season (monsoon period), one could also witness an almost 100m natural Water-Fall, spreading its ‘tentacles’ into numerous lakes & lush green Vegetation.

Next stop is one of the world’s largest Sink Holes (211 m deep & 150 m in diameter), situated at Tawi Attair – also known as the “Well of Birds”, who frequent this location, the year through.

Continue journey into the mountain range of Jebel Samhan to a breathtaking plateau at a height of almost 1700m. This location is commonly known as the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Dhofar, gives one a complete view of the east coast to the one side & the vast ‘Qara’ mountain range to the other.

Continue the journey from the plateau into the adjacent ‘Qara’ mountain range & drive through scenic Jebali villages & landscape, with numerous photo stops at interesting locations including the spring of Ayn Razat.
