Day 1 Cochin/Thekkady

Upon arrival meet and greet our representative transfer to Thekkady for 02-night stay in Spice village. Check-in at the hotel and day at leisure.

Spice village in Thekkady is atribal village set in a spice garden in a cool highlands of periyar Thekkady. Spice village is moulded on the dwellings of the native Manan tribe of this region and exudes the raw spirit of unblemished nature. Periyar is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close quarters. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Periyar are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear resemblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

Day 2 Thekkady

After Breakfast enjoy the Nature walk Explore the nature in its own turf with Nature walk. Enjoy a pleasant walk through the magic of woods, connect with nature in its pristine form. Nature walk is the right programme to feel nature, hear her whispers and smell her flowers Spices plantation tour- Over twelve varieties of spices is cultivated in and around Thekkady. The spice plantation tour covers spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, vanilla, clove, nutmeg etc. and also some Ayurveda plants and herbs. The duration of the trip is normally one to two hours. The service of an experienced guide will give full and detailed explanation of the plants and its uses.

Evening   enjoy Game safari cruise on the Lake Periyar.  The Periyar forests of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Spreads across the entire district are the picturesque plantations and hill towns that nestle beautiful trails for treks and mountain walks. Periyar Tiger Reserve which is one of the best-managed tiger reserves in India. This is the only tiger reserve where one can watch animals at close quarters from a boat. The normal sightings are elephant, bison, and sambar deer, barking deer, wild boar and a variety of birds. Boating Timing: – 7.30am, 9.30am, 11.15 AM, 01.45 PM & 3.30 PM

Day 3 Thekkady/House boat

Post breakfast and check out from the Treehouse later proceed to Alleppey{4-5 hours} board Houseboat for overnight cruise in and around Alleppey -1200 Hrs Board Houseboat for overnight cruises. Spice coast Houseboats (Kettuvallams) The crew of these boats are simple fisherfolk, men who know these waters from their early years, however, they do more than just pilot these behemoths, alternating between navigating the Waterways, preparing meals for the guest on board and generaly keeping things “shipshape”.Their smiling faces speak of a culture that is famed for its accomdation and amiable ways. This is indeed spontaneous hospitality, orwhat we term Hospitality from the heart a common CGH Earth Feature .These house boats are available in all sizes and shapes, the most popular accommodation type being a suite, having one or two bath attached bedrooms, one living room, kitchenette, an open lounge, deck and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide.
