Kerala, through this interesting walking tour. Mattanchery welcomes you with cultures of Dutch, Portuguese & Jews; a true haven for travel-enthusiasts, archaeologists, historians, and tourists.

Our Itinerary -We will welcome you at the Cochin seaport around 8 to 8.30 AM. Travel with us from Cochin seaport to St. Francis Church. The walking tour starts at 9 AM, with us visiting the St. Francis Church. Observe how Chinese fishing nets work. We will conclude the first session at the Dutch cemetery.

Walk, through market The second session of our walk tour commences from Mattanchery Amravati Temple, at 10 AM.Look through various local shops, vegetable markets, and pappad making units. Get a demonstration of applying a variety of Henna designs, along with Kolam drawings. Visit Jain temple and walk through stores & godowns that supply authentic spices. Refresh & resume .Refresh yourself by relishing a delicious Kerala Lunch, before resuming your final walk session at around 12:30 PM. In the final walking session, you can immerse yourself in ancient Dutch cultural heritage through a visit to Dutch Palace. This palace built in 1555, showcases the
architectural dimensions of that century. The main attraction in the Dutch palace would be artworks, which include Kerala Murals that shows various exhibits of Kochi Rajas. This palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visiting this Dutch palace, walk on to the Jewish Synagogue in the Jew Street. One of the oldest synagogues built, in 1568; it is one of the seven
active synagogues that is undertaken by the Cochin Jewish Community. Stroll along, the interesting & curios shops that adorn the Jew Street. This session ends around 1.30 PM, after which, we will return to your home-stay.Don’t ever say Goodbye!Around 2.45 PM, sip your favorite high tea (afternoon tea) before you head back to Cochin seaport.
