Your tour starts with a drive along the picturesque Jumeirah area to see the beautiful homes and modern-day Palaces. Make a photo-stop at the iconic Burj Al Arab, a sail-shaped hotel voted the world’s most luxurious and built on a man-made island just off Dubai’s coastline. Next you will see Palm Jumeirah, the first in a trilogy of three Palm tree-shaped islands reclaimed off the coast of Dubai. Drive onto the trunk for a closer inspection of its villa encrusted fronds and the jewel in its crown, the US$ 1.5b Atlantis, The Palm, a luxury resort embodying the bold new face of this megalopolis. Continue along the coast to the world’s largest artificially created Dubai Marina and the condominiums of Jumeirah Beach Residence to see first-hand how a desert land has transformed into a vibrant community in a matter of years. Travel next to Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai’s new business district, for a look at some of the attention- gathering architectural marvels that have put Dubai on the World Map. Moving along, you reach the Downtown Burj Dubai district for a visit of Burj Khalifa. At 828 meters (2,716 feet) the tallest building in the world inspires awe like no other. Enter the complex and board a high-speed elevator which ascends to the observation deck at 10 meters per second. As the doors open on Level 124, floor-to-ceiling glass walls provide breath-taking 360-degree views of the city, desert and ocean sprawled below. You will be mesmerized by the experience of looking down at the world from such a lofty perch. After 30 minutes at leisure, descend to reality.
