All the shops, under one umbrella!
Each year almost 1450 to 1500 shops come together with their stalls that are big enough to showcase all of their merchandise under one roof. The offers given by shops are mind-blowing with a 12-hour super sale, during which a discount of about 85 to 90% is given on the merchandise. During the Boxing Day, December 26, shopping outlets slashes prices on three main items that include fashion, homeware & accessories.
Deals Galore
With DSF running for a long time, the shops offer various kinds of deals & discounts, as mentioned before. Weekend surprise deals start on a Thursday and go on till Saturday. During DSF, a lot of individual stores take part in slashing prices for giving attractive discounts to customers. The main merchandise item involved includes fashion and beauty along with electronic hardware as well as home furnishings & decorations.
Lucky Draws & Raffles
DSF offers prizes for lucky draws & raffles, for people who have purchased merchandise with spending money over a certain amount. Cars and gold are given away as prizes along with big cash prizes.
The market outside the Box (MOTB)
This usually happens with stalls set up on Burj Park by local vendors. People can have a leisurely shopping experience with them able to shop while strolling through the park, looking at surrounding festivities and kids playing around. The stalls set up outside normal shopping malls are referred to as “Market outside the Box” (MOTB).
Dubai Fireworks
Dubai Shopping Festival is celebrated grandly with fireworks across parks in which shopping stalls are set up. Fireworks happen on beaches & other parks along with open spaces as well.
